what was the short that had one of the boys blowing beer head froth into walter longs ear, as walter looked around slowly the other blow his beer head into walters face,,, .. I think it was stan blew the beer head first into walters ear then olly second into his face..
read that walter long was a real gentleman and nothing like his rogue onscreen characters

Hi, I have a Stan Laurel piggy bank. It says Larry Harmon Picture Corp.1972 Play Pal Plastics. This was my childhood piggy bank and I loved it!I was wondering if it was any kind of collectors item. I can't find any info on it. I wondered if anyone knew anything about it.
Thanks..

OTAY! THE BILLY “BUCKWHEAT” THOMAS STORY
BOOK SIGNING WITH
William Thomas, Jr. - Buckwheat’s Son
And Screening of an OUR GANG CLASSIC
Wednesday, February 17th @7:00 pm

William Thomas, the man known as "Buckwheat," one of the most beloved characters in the history of the Our Gang and Little Rascals films, rose from obscurity to become an American icon. Billy's heritage grew to be more than the ninety-three comedies in which he appeared as Buckwheat. He was a husband, father, and soldier. Several generations have come to know Buckwheat as if he was a real person, but few knew Billy, the man behind the myth.
In "Otay!" The Billy "Buckwheat" Thomas Story, William Thomas, Jr., Billy's son, joins with acclaimed author David W. Menefee to brush back the sands of time and unearth the facts beneath the fable. In an era when most Black American actors were struggling to gain a foothold in Hollywood, Billy achieved a lasting legacy. Enjoy the timeless tale of a baby superstar, who once shown brightly on movie screens during Hollywood's "Golden Years" and still fascinates audiences today.

what film is it where stan walks past the screen holding a ladder then appers holding it at the back when he walks past the screen again ...

carl (UK)

I think the film that Carl (UK) is looking for with Stan and the 'ladder' scene is The Finishing Touch, one of my favourite silents.

Stuart (England, Slough)

Without any doubt the scene of Stan and the ladder is from the:'Finishing Touch'.

My partner is a big Laurel and Hardy fan and gets a calendar each year- he’s quite a collector of all things Laurel and Hardy!!
He unfortunately lost his 2004 calendar and has since been desperate to find another. Both he and I have trawled website after website in search of one and have had no luck. Does anyone know where one can be purchased from? Any advice would be very much appreciated!! Kind regards and many thanks in advance

Does anyone know where I can find the music/soundtrack to Laurel and Hardy's "Laughing Twenties"? I know the music is not covered by the Beau Hunks CD collection and that the composer's name is Skeets Alquist. I've looked everywhere! Thanks

Hi all, I received a 4 DVD box set as a present and my 6 year old daughter can't stop laughing she has never seen anything so funny before.
I have a question - on which film does Stan decanter wine and holds the syphon in his mouth while he changes bottles and then slowly gets drunk - very very funny.
